PravaApp ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use PravaApp: Claim your Focus (the "App"), available on Android devices.

By using PravaApp, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name (if provided)
• Authentication credentials (managed securely through Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In)

1.2 Activity Data (via Accessibility Service API)

PravaApp utilizes the Android AccessibilityService API to enable its core digital wellbeing features, specifically ScreenSink Detection and Focus Nudges. This service is strictly required to monitor your screen in real-time to alert you about distracting applications and display visual reminders during focus sessions.

To provide these core features, the AccessibilityService API accesses the following data:

a) Other personal info

• Your specific app usage patterns, including which apps you use, when you use them, and for how long.
• Session start and end times.
• Foreground app identity (package name, e.g., "com.instagram.android") to classify it as focus-positive or focus-negative.

b) Web browsing history

• Page titles from browser apps such as Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, and other browsers (e.g., "Reddit - Top posts").
• We collect page titles only, not full URLs, page content, or browsing history stored in the browser.
• This is used to detect distracting browser page titles and accurately calculate your Focus Score.

c) Interaction Events

• Taps, scrolls, and gestures.
• Used to measure active engagement vs. idle time and trigger overlay nudges on focus-negative apps.

d) Idle periods

• When you stop interacting with your device for 5 or more minutes.
• Used to segment screen time sessions accurately and distinguish active use from idle time.

1.3 Other app performance data

From your activity data, we calculate the following performance metrics:

• Focus Score (XP): Your daily productivity rating based on which apps you use and for how long.
• ScreenSink Risk: A real-time distraction probability score that alerts you when you spend too long on distracting apps.
• Working Intensity: Your engagement level (0 to 1 scale) measuring active usage vs. passive screen time.

These derived metrics constitute other app performance data and are used to power your productivity insights, AI coaching, and real-time nudges.

• Device timezone (for accurate time-based insights)
• App version

• Your selected AI coach preference
• Your selected user mode

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what PravaApp does not access or collect:

• We do NOT read or store text you type in any app (no keylogging).
• We do NOT read the body or content of emails, messages, documents, or web pages.
• We do NOT capture passwords, usernames, or login credentials from other apps.
• We do NOT access photos, files, contacts, or media content on your device.
• We do NOT collect full web URLs — only page titles from browser apps.
• We do NOT access call logs, SMS messages, or location data.
• We do NOT use the Accessibility Service to interact with or control other apps.
• We do NOT share data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Our Accessibility Service configuration explicitly sets canRetrieveWindowContent="false", meaning we cannot read arbitrary content displayed on your screen.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively for the following purposes:

• Focus Analysis: Classifying apps as focus-positive, focus-negative, or neutral to generate your Focus Score.
• Productivity Insights: Generating daily and weekly reports on your screen time and focus patterns.
• ScreenSink Detection: Providing real-time risk alerts when you spend extended time on distracting apps.
• Smart Nudge: Displaying gentle overlay reminders when you are on focus-negative apps.
• AI Coaching: Providing personalized advice from your selected AI coach based on your usage patterns.
• Web Browsing Analysis: Using page titles to identify distracting browsing sessions and improve Focus Score accuracy.
• Trend Tracking: Measuring long-term improvements in your digital wellbeing.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to digital wellbeing.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Local Processing: All accessibility data is first processed locally on your device in real-time.
• Data Sync (optional): If you enable "Data Sync" (a separate consent step during onboarding), your activity data — including other personal info, web browsing history, and other app performance data — is sent encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) to our secure servers.
• Server Infrastructure: We use Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Authentication) hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
• Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit.
• Access Control: Server-side data is protected by Firebase security rules and accessible only to your authenticated account.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use Google Firebase for infrastructure. Google processes data as a data processor under their terms of service.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Accessibility Permission: You can revoke the Accessibility Service permission at any time via Android Settings > Accessibility. This will stop all data collection.
• Data Sync: You can enable or disable Data Sync at any time from the App's Settings. Disabling it stops all data transmission to our servers.
• Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.
• Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw consent for any data collection at any time by disabling the relevant permissions or uninstalling the app.

7. Data Retention

• Activity data synced to our servers is retained as long as your account is active.
• If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.
• Local data on your device is managed by the app and cleared upon uninstallation.

8. Children's Privacy

PravaApp is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
